You are here: Caring

In Unitarian Universalism, we affirm the ministry that we all do, together. We know that a religious community is one in which all members minister to one another. Caring takes a variety of forms in our congregation.

Our Lay Chaplain program offers a means of members providing assistance and comfort to one another in times of illness, family crisis or celebration, so that no one should feel alone.

The Helping Hands are members who provide caring in practical forms, such as rides to worship services or medical appointments, meals for those who temporarily cannot cook for themselves, or cards to lift one’s spirits or celebrate a rite of passage.
