- We hold these conversations
between services a few weeks prior to each Membership Sunday. (Contact Membership

reserve your spot.) At this orientation, we’ll walk you through the
various forms in your membership packet, and you’ll get to know others who
are joining along with you. Before your Membership Sunday, you’ll be asked
to turn in your completed gifts and interest survey,
Foundations of Fellowship form, pledge card, and biographical summary.
- Sign the Membership Book
- It is available most Sundays at the Welcome Table in the Ann Benner Room
after the services or in the office during office hours – Tuesday through
Friday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Your signature must be witnessed by
someone from the Membership Team, clergy or staff. Many folks choose to
sign the book on their Membership Welcoming Sunday.
- Participate in a formal Membership Welcoming
Ceremony
- Take part in this special covenant with the congregation. New members receive a flower, a chalice pin, and their
“member” nametag. Members and their guests are invited to a special
pre-service gathering during which their pictures are taken for our
new-member bulletin board.
