Our Music Ministry is a vital
part of our worship life here at UU San Mateo. We present a wide variety
of music at our worship services and other special events. Led by our
Music Director Shawn Reifschneider and Accompanist Paul Zawilski, we
encourage widespread participation from members and friends alike. There
is something for any musician of any age.
If you or someone you know
may be interested in participating in our Music Ministry, please contact Shawn Reifschneider.

The UU San Mateo Choir
presents a diverse array of repertoire, offering everything from early
classical works to inspiring world music. You can enjoy these
offerings on most Sundays at our 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. worship services.
The choir season culminates in June with a Sunday morning festival service
celebrating music in worship. It’s a morning not to be missed.
Join us! We rehearse each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30
p.m. from August to June, singing three of four Sundays a month.
No audition is required. We are always looking for more singers
from high school and up. For more information, contact Music Director

UU San Mateo’s House Band
is a recent addition to our Music Ministry. This group of instrumentalists
and singers provide leadership for congregational singing in worship
as well as presenting its own special musical offering from time to
time. The rhythm section (piano, bass, guitar, and drums) is often
supplemented by other instruments. If you play any instrument
or sing and wish to be a part of this group on a regular or even occasional
basis, contact
