When I was first thought about giving to the capital campaign — and
about how much I wanted to give — I thought about it mostly as an act of
radical generosity, a way to put my money where my values are, a way to
pay it forward to my children and their children’s children, and a way
to do something bold that would also benefit me in very near future,
with better worship space, better RE space, and room for new friends who
I haven’t even met yet. |

We are coming to the end of our long and winding
road with this capital campaign. As Julia said last week, ours has not been a traditional
campaign, given that we no longer have either the ministers we started with or
the building we sought to buy! |
