A successful pledge drive allows us to count on funds being available to fund UUSM's budget for the upcoming year.
We encourage all members and friends to grow in generosity and commitment to UUSM,
as they consider the impact this caring community has in their lives.
We are mentored by those who gave before us to secure UUSM's financial wellbeing.
We stretch our own resources to promote excellence in UUSM's programs.
Finally we commit to the community outside our walls — to future members and others
who may experience the impact of liberal religious values on our world.
Our activities include:
Last winter volunteers offered their photography, musical, and
audio-visual skills to craft a promotional brochure and DVD.
Many more hosted small gatherings in their homes, spoke up for the Pledge
at these house parties, visited elderly members in their homes to discuss the pledge drive,
assisted with follow-up mailings and phone calls, and celebrated our success
with a fabulous Pledge Volunteer Appreciation Party.
