Attend a Newcomers Circle.
This gathering is an informal opportunity to meet the ministers and learn
a little about Unitarian Universalism, our congregation, and its many
activities. This activity typically takes place once each month, between
the two Sunday-morning worship services. Check the Order of Service on Sunday morning for
details on upcoming sessions.
- Attend our orientation classes.
This is a two-session series, each
one led by one of our ministers. Part One is called “Unitarian
Universalism 101” and addresses the history of our faith, the sources of our living tradition, and the vision our congregation holds for its
future. Part Two is called “Finding Yourself at UUSM” and addresses our
personal religious paths and provides more opportunity to discern the
various ways to get involved in ministry here. These classes are held
periodically throughout the program year. You can take these classes in any order.
