Nancy Jasa, Co-Director of Religious Education |
|
Nancy Jasa has a
background in sales, marketing, training, and management. Nebraska is her
childhood home, and she has experienced many different settings since leaving
there. From big town to big city to the slow rural crossroads, she has
experienced many areas of our country and its varied cultural crossroads.
Nancy
is a member of Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church in Walnut Creek.
Chairing the Marriage Equality Task Force (recently re-named LBGTQQ Equality),
volunteering with the Food Justice committee, mentoring for the Coming of Age
program, and working as the Lead Youth Advisor are some of the areas that Nancy
has put her energy into at her home congregation. Lifting up the youth of our
denomination and providing a safe environment for them to grow into themselves
is her passion.
