UUSM utilizes several communications channels as a means of keeping members and friends informed and up-to-date.

UUSM News is a monthly printed newsletter containing news about the UUSM community, regular columns by the ministers and other UUSM leaders, a section on Religious Education, updates on Social Justice activities, a listing and calendar of events, and other items and news articles of interest to the UUSM community. UUSM News is also sent out via e-mail in pdf format to those who opt to receive it in this manner. Submission deadlines are usually on the third Tuesday of each month, with occasional offsets to avoid holidays and other scheduling conflicts; contact the UUSM office for specific information.

E-nnouncements is a weekly e-mail bulletin with a description of the upcoming Sunday services, and a listing of upcoming events and activities. The E-nnouncements is sent out every Thursday afternoon. The deadline for submissions is 12:00 noon every Wednesday.

Special e-Mail Announcements, dedicated to a single event, can be sent out by the UUSM office to the community's entire e-mail list. Use of this communications medium is limited (usually to congregation-wide activities) so as to avoid inundating members' e-mail mailboxes. The best days to send these e-mails are Tuesdays and Fridays. Contact the UUSM office for more information.
