COMPASS ROSE: THE UU SAN MATEO BLOG

COVID Task Force Update - 2/10/22

Updated: Feb 10, 2022

San Mateo County continues to be in the “extremely high/severe” level of Covid according to covidactnow.org. With the safety of our congregation in mind, there will continue to be no in-person gatherings indoors or out on the UUSM campus until the covid levels drop. If current Covid trends continue, we are hopeful that we will be able to meet in person in Beck Hall on our UUSM campus beginning March 6th.

UUSM requires that everyone who is eligible provides proof of booster vaccination to attend all future UUSM Sunday Services and in-person meetings, activities, or events. In planning to gather in-doors, in-person in the not too distant future, we will continue to require masks to protect the most vulnerable among us. We encourage everyone to get well fitting KN95 or N95 masks.

With community in mind, our guidelines currently permit outdoor socially distanced activities. All participants must be masked. We hope this will allow people to gather in a safe way and enjoy some time together in the great outdoors!

Our team meets every Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm. We welcome and encourage comments, questions and feedback. Please email mft@uusanmateo.org
