COMPASS ROSE: THE UU SAN MATEO BLOG

It's going to be a New Year!

Updated: Feb 22, 2022

Our next scheduled in-person “hybrid” service will held indoors at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (MLKCC), 725 Monte Diablo Avenue, San Mateo on January 9th. This is an exciting next step for our congregation. MLKCC will be our temporary home while our own beloved campus is under construction. There will be space for Sunday services and RE programming!

If you and/or your family are interested in joining us in-person, please make sure you’ve submitted your COVID Agreement, Waiver and Vaccination Confirmation; If you need help with the form, contact the office (650) 445-0190 during the week. All attendees must be fully vaccinated and masked. We are also gearing up to require proof of booster vaccinations. We encourage all who are eligible to get their booster asap. Right now our target date is for everyone to be boosted by our January 9th services so those who choose to worship in-person can do so as safely as possible. Worshiping offsite at MLKCC will require additional time and energy. We are particularly in need of ushers, zoom hosts, zoom chat hosts and tech support. Please contact the UUSM office or movingforwardtogether@uusanmateo.org. Sign ups have been added to the SignUp Genius and training is available. As alway we encourage comments, questions and feedback. Please email: movingforwardtogether@uusanmateo.org or mft@uusanmateo.org.
